Missions

 

Witness 1:8 is named for the charge Jesus gave His people as He prepared to leave them.  In Acts 1:8, He said, "You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.  His followers were to actively witness to people in their community (Jerusalem), their country (Judea), other cultures (Samaria), and other nations (ends of the earth), to tell them about Jesus.  Our primary purpose is to discern the scope of this church's mission.  What is our Judea?  Where is our Samaria?  How far are the ends of the earth for us?

We are continuing to ask these questions as we seek to be involved in God's mission throughout the world.
